IMPORTANT Update to Our Klaviyo Integration
What is Changing?
Currently, Lantern sends several events to Klaviyo that will no longer be supported after the update. These events are:
- Completed Product Finder
- Completed Lantern Quiz
- Product Recommended
These events have been used in various scenarios such as triggers for flows, creating segments, and conditional splits within flows.
What event will Lantern use?
We will continue to send the Completed Lantern Quiz (v2) event that is in effect for some time. This event aligns with industry standards and will replace the previous events for all integration purposes.
What action is required of me?
First of all you will need to check in your Klaviyo flows if you are using any of the old events that will no longer be working from September 15th. If you are using any of them you will need to change that and use the event that will be the only one remaining past that date, Completed Lantern Quiz (v2) which is followed by the name of your quiz in Klaviyo.
To ensure a smooth transition and no disruption to your ongoing marketing activities, please update your Klaviyo settings by replacing the old events with the new Completed Lantern Quiz (v2) metric. Here’s how you can make these changes:
