Understanding Order tags
Lantern Quiz Builder applies specific tags to orders made by participants of your quizzes. These tags are essential for analytics, reporting, and filtering orders based on quiz participation.
How Order Tags Work
When a customer participates in a quiz, regardless of whether they complete it, the following tags are applied to their order:
- Lantern Quiz: This tag is applied to all orders where the customer interacted with the quiz. Initially, this tag was uniform across all quizzes but can now be customized for each quiz. This allows for more precise segmentation and analysis.
- Lantern-Session: Accompanying the Lantern Quiz tag, the 'lantern-session' tag includes the unique session ID of the user's interaction with the quiz. This tag appears under the order's Additional Details and is crucial for detailed analytics and reporting. It cannot be removed to ensure data integrity.
Customizing the Lantern Quiz Tag
Lantern Quiz Builder allows for customization of the 'Lantern Quiz' tag. Here’s how you can tailor this tag for each quiz:
- Navigate to the quiz you wish to customize in your Lantern dashboard.
- Go to the Results Page section and select the Advanced Settings drop-down menu.
- Here, you'll find the option to edit the 'Lantern Quiz' tag. Adjust it according to the specific needs of each quiz, allowing for more targeted order filtering and reporting.
This feature enhances the ability to track and analyze quiz-related sales data, providing deeper insights into customer preferences and quiz effectiveness.
Disabling the Lantern Quiz Tag
If you prefer not to use the 'Lantern Quiz' tag for certain quizzes, you can disable it:
- In the Advanced Settings on the Results Page, there’s an option to disable the 'Lantern Quiz' tag for that particular quiz.
